THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE EXHIBITION
Step through the wardrobe and into the world of Narnia. This magical exhibition based on the blockbuster film series and fictional children's classics by author C.S. Lewis is hailed as the near-perfect visitor experience. The exhibit combines original film costumes, set drawings and props from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian with newly created educational interactives, videos and interviews with scientists so that visitors can consider the surprising similarity between our world and that of Narnia.

AMOROUS CROSSING
Emmy Award winner Loretta Swit will star in the world premiere of Mark Miller's Amorous Crossing. (Read EU's interview with Ms. Swit in EU) This romantic comedy is set aboard a cruise ship en route to an island paradise. In particular, it focuses on the hilarious complications involving two couples. As their mutual honeymoons set sail, it is discovered that the man and the woman of different couples have been previously married to each other.

MURDER IN THE OLDE CITY
The Limelight Theatre and Rain Tree Restaurant present the dinner murder mystery Murder in the Olde City. Set in 1880s St. Augustine, this powerful tale of murder, scandal, love and deceit is presented in an entertaining ?you are there’ style of staging. State of the Re:Unionhosts SOTRU - A Celebration of Community
NPR’s Jacksonville-based ?State of the Re:Union’ will host its first annual fundraiser ?SOTRU - A Celebration of Community’ on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, 6:30pm ? 9:00pm at the Hicks Auditorium at the Jacksonville Public Library. Featuring a cocktail hour complete with drinks and passed hors’doeurves, the highlight of the evening will be a performance by ?State of the Re:Union’ host and spoken word artist Al Letson. Tickets are $50 and all money raised from the event will go to support the show, which airs nationally on more than 170 stations.

29th Annual Downtown Gainesville Festival & Art Show
Gainesville will transform into a masterful blend of art, music and entertainment during the 29th Annual Downtown Festival & Art Show, one of the nation’s premier outdoor fine arts festivals. Presented by the City of Gainesville Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, the festival draws a crowd of more than 100,000 each year.
