dish update

While they’ll still be offering their great selection of wines and yummy sak-tails (sake based “cocktails”) Blue Bamboo now has a full liquor license!
Ponte Vedra Beach now features a “taste of the Caribbean” with the new Pusser’s Caribbean Grille restaurant, which opened for business in The Shoppes of Veranda shopping center on A1A North just south of the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa.
Pusser’s opens at 11:30 am for lunch and closes at 10 pm Sunday through Thursday – serving food until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays – with extended bar hours until 1 am. The restaurant’s first floor is open this month. When the restaurant’s “Upper Deck” is completed in January, it plans to introduce a “Caribbean Call” Cocktail Hour at 5 pm featuring live entertainment Wednesday and on weekends.
The cuisine emphasizes fresh seafood, Pusser’s Island Grill menu and regional entrée favorites. Chef Delay is says he is excited to present Caribbean cuisine in “a colorful way,” with unique menu items such as Red Snapper Ponte Vedra, Barbeque Salmon Tower, Chesapeake Crab Cakes, Down Island Baby Back Ribs, and Trinidad Smoked Duck.

Zaitoon will be open for New Year’s Eve but closed for New Year’s Day.
