      Winning Eleven is by far the most realistic, fun to play soccer (football?) franchise available on home gaming consoles. If you can, be sure to pick up the Xbox 360 version of the game, as the game plays better than ever on this next-gen console. If you don’t have an Xbox 360, not to worry-the game is also available on most other current gen consoles, as well.

      Diddy Kong racing takes all the fun from previous Nintendo racers such as Mario Kart, and reinterprets it using hovercrafts, prop planes, karts, and furry wildlife creatures. Diddy Kong Racing DS also features multiplayer a la Mario Kart DS, so if you have a nearby WiFi hotspot or a friend with a DS, you can easily enjoy multiplayer functionality.

      Known by fans as one of the best in the series, Final Fantasy VI makes its way to the Gameboy advance this week. With over 14 playable characters and a great storyline and setting, this is the game to get for a great Gameboy RPG on the go. Set in a 19th century-type environment of steam engines, opera singing and magic, FFVI has a great story that will have you hooked.

      Capcom Puzzle World is a puzzle game fan’s dream come true. Including Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, Block Block, and a few versions of Buster Bros, this game is one hot tamale. Buster Brothers and Block Block are good games, sure, but the real draw here is the 2-player masterpiece Super Puzzle fighter 2 Turbo. Highly regarded as one of the best multiplayer puzzle games to grace home consoles, Puzzle Fighter mixes color matching and organization with humorous back and forth assaults from player to player. Don’t pass this one up, because it may soon be hard to find.
