How Many Asian Babbies are Enough?

      Angelina Jolie’s adoption of a three-year-old Vietnamese boy is reportedly moving quickly, meaning the actor may be able to pick up her new son within a few weeks, a top adoption official said Tuesday. The director of the Tam Binh orphanage told the Associated Press that the boy is “in good health” and “a little bit shy.” The baby is a paparazzi magnet.


Western Wall Rumble

      Israeli police arrested two of Leonardo DiCaprio’s bodyguards after they clashed with photographers trying to document the actor’s private tour of Jerusalem’s Western Wall tunnels with his girlfriend, supermodel, Bar Refaeli, local paper Haaretz reported.


Parker Bitten

      Sarah Jessica Parker channeled her inner Carrie by launching a new fashion line called Bitten, Women’s Wear Daily reports. Details of the collection remain under wraps.


Rap in The Hall

      Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five became the first hip-hop artists inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Monday night. “There were some that called it a fad. They called it a flash of brilliance, excuse my pun,” Grandmaster Flash told reporters at the event. “They all finally accepted and embraced this wonderful culture we call hip-hop.”


Van Halen Brothers & Roth Absent from Induction

      Meanwhile, Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony were the lone members of Van Halen in attendance at the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Monday. David Lee Roth boycotted the event over a dispute about performing, Eddie Van Halen is currently in rehab and Alex Van Halen reportedly stayed away out of loyalty to his brother. Thus the term “rockstar” is synonymous with self-absorbed jerks!


Law & Disorder

      Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent are potentially in danger of cancellation, Daily Variety reports. Series creator Dick Wolf is expected to sit down with NBC in the near future to discuss how to boost ratings and cut costs on the shows—or else. Hey, give the franchise its own channel!


Armed and Sued

      College student Lyndsay Clements, whose apartment in Muncie, Indiana, was mistakenly raided by police during filming for the quickly canceled CBS reality show Armed and Famous, took the first step in filing a lawsuit by lodging a claim against the city in which she said she “also holds liable all those associated with filming and airing the show.” Sue ‘em Dano!


Grey’s Anatomy Spinoff Greenlighted

      Amy Brenneman (Judging Amy) and Merrin Dungey (Alias) joined the cast of the extended Grey’s Anatomy episode expected to serve as the pilot for the upcoming spinoff centered on Dr. Addison Montgomery, per the Hollywood Reporter. Taye Diggs, Chris Lowell, and Paul Aldestein are already working on the project.


Jeni’s Suicide under Investigation

      Los Angeles County coroner’s office is performing an autopsy on Richard Jeni Monday, but the official cause of his death won’t be announced for several weeks, officials said. The 49-year-old comic is believed to be the victim of an apparent suicide. Jeni’s girlfriend found him shot in the face. Jay Leno paid tribute to Jeni on his Monday night March 12th. show, saying Jeni performed numerous times on his show, and was a brilliant comic.


Mending Fences

      Candy Spelling told People that she and estranged daughter Tori “have been in touch with each other and are in the process of communicating and working things out.” Randy Spelling says his mom is “so excited” about being a grandmother: “My mom is having a grandchild and that puts things into perspective.” Tori and hubby Dean McDermott are expecting their first child this spring.


Idol Sexual Predator

      A former American Idol production assistant sued the show’s producers and ex-contestant Mario Vasquez, alleging he was fired for complaining about being sexually harassed by Vasquez, who dropped out of the fourth season. Magdaleno Olmos claims in his suit that Vasquez cornered him in a men’s restroom and tried to initiate sex.
