Art with a Heart 2007 Fundraiser
Art with a Heart is a non-profit organization that provides hospitalized children with an opportunity for expression and creativity through fine art instruction. Monty Python's Spamalot On-Sale Event
Tickets for the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005 Monty Python's Spamalot, will go on sale this Friday and that's reason enough to celebrate! From 7 to 10 am at the Times-Union Center box office, WAPE 95.1 and Lite 96.1 WEJZ will be broadcasting live and providing coffee and donuts to those waiting in line for tickets. The first 100 ticket purchasers will receive an official Spamalot souvenir and a $25 gift certificate to Morton's Steakhouse. Strolling medieval actors and musicians will be on-site to entertain the crowd and special SPAM breakfast foods will be served courtesy of Levy's Restaurants. Tickets range from $27 to $74. 20th Annual Spooktacular
Spooktacular at the Jacksonville Zoo begins this Friday. Come to a land of pumpkins for the Pumpkinville Fall Festival celebration! You'll meet pumpkin people, scarecrows, and animals. Enjoy live entertainment galore, an Enchanted Forest with a prince and princess, and lots of other surprises. This year candy and treat stations will be set up throughout the Spooktacular path so kids can trick or treat (safely!) as they explore! Dennis DeYoung
Dennis Deyoung, former member of the band STYX, recreates 30 years of musical history featuring all the music he wrote and sang. The Hives
Coming straight out of Fagersta, Sweden, the Hives formed in 1993 but will be forever known as members of the Class of 2002, when rock was officially declared Back. Their latest record, The Black and White Album, will be in stores next month and all of their headlining shows in support of the release will be at small, intimate venues. Medeski Martin & Wood
Comprised of denizens of New York's downtown jazz scene, the keys-bass-drums trio Medeski Martin & Wood built a reputation as one of the most inventive jam bands of the '90s, the rare act that could entertain Phishheads one night and a fringe-jazz crowd the next. After many successful years, the group has become something of a phenomenon, even being featured on the soundtrack of ABC's hit series Grey's Anatomy. Tickets: $20,

Skynyrd Tribute Weekend
This special weekend honoring Jacksonville legends Lynyrd Skynyrd features music by KYMYSTRY, Barry Lee Harwood, Skytrain, Drivin South, DB Hackett & The Cross Creek Band, Shane Dodson and other acoustic performers. A "Skynyrd Frynds Unplugged" tribute is planned both nights with a candlelight vigil on Saturday night. Catty Shack's 2nd Annual Haunted Forest Halloween Party

Anderson Cooper Presented by The Florida Forum

Picasso at the Lapin Agile
Written by Steve Martin, this long running off-Broadway absurdist comedy places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian café in 1904 just before the renowned scientist transformed physics with his theory of relativity and the celebrated painter set the art world afire with cubism. Playing fast and loose with fact, fame and fortune as these two geniuses muse on the century's achievements and prospects as well as other fanciful topics, Martin also adds a third major influence of the century by including Elvis.
